Hawaii part deux

more pictures! mahalo!

Lovely land of Hawaii...and more

thought i'd put up some pictures of hawaii and the places we saw...luau, uss arizona memorial, uss missouri, the coolest thing was that i met a veteran of pearl harbor, he was on one of the airstrips when the bombs hit, so cool to hear and see an actual survivor of such an incredible part of history.

we're home!!!

so we survived our wedding and honeymoon. it was a blast, the day was filled with laughter, crying, and a whole LOT of smiles.
the entire day, i kept asking myself if it was my own wedding, then i'd look around..see my dress and answer "yup, it's my wedding" :)
the weather was great, sunny with a little bit of wind. the groomsmen looked so handsome, and the maids looked absolutely beautiful.
and of course my husband looked drop-dead snazzy handsome. (yes, i think i just made up a word) it was so much fun visiting with so many friends and family, it was a wonderful and God filled day!

we honeymooned first and seascape resort, a lovely condo right on the beach. very nice! we then headed off to hawaii to the island of maui. i've never been there before....well.... it was awesome!!! we had a cute little condo that overlooked the resorts lushly green gardens and looked straight out to the ocean. we spent the entire week either sitting on the beach reading a book, or sitting out on the lanai reading....it was a very relaxing week, i loved it!!! we also had the chance to visit oahu and pearl harbor. that was amazing! for those who know me, i'm kind of a history buff and love history, so being able to visit pearl harbor was AWESOME!! we went out on the arizona memorial, the missouri, and the bowfin. all held so much history, and i also was able to meet a couple of gentlemen who were survivors of the attack on pearl, and i got their autographs and a picture with them! it was fun!
so now we're back home adjusting to married life, and neither of us want to go back to work next week, but alas...we must be the bread winners...oh well...i'll post pictures soon.
